Product description

Description

The largest of the pots in the Mami collection by designer Stefano Giovannoni is a pot for special tasks, perfect for cooking large portions of food.

Main features:
  • The size of the pot makes it indispensable for cooking for a large family or for guests.
  • The characteristic bulbous shape is a Mediterranean accent for the entire collection, which makes cooking with Mami pots reminiscent of family meals. The pots themselves give an unusually soft, warm impression despite being made of steel, which is usually associated with cold.
How to use:
  • The bulbous pot with a diameter of 26 cm will cook both delicious soups and one-pot dishes in larger portions.
Material:
  • The body of the pot is made of matt aluminium. The use of this material allows for economical cooking, as aluminium distributes and stores heat perfectly. The included lid also helps with economical 'cooking'.
  • The handles are made of 18/10 stainless steel.
Good to know!
  • The aluminium pot is not suitable for use on induction cookers, thus making it an exception in the Mami collection.

I should add that the only thing I lack in it is a measuring tape measure in the middle. with such a volume, doing something "on sight" is rather out of the question. unless you can't do it in aluminium, which I find hard to believe. I would subtract max. half a star, so there's 5 left :)
but the evaluation will be increased by the fact that after washing in the dishwasher nothing happened to him (from the momentum I threw him in forgetting about the indications, but only at 35 degrees)

Wonderful! I'm in love with him! I bought him to cook the tomato sauce in him, which I always do in bulk. the pot was made fantastically, top quality materials, thick walls, I burned absolutely nothing. wonderful.
I was only afraid of where I would store it, but there are so many things in town that there is no problem:)
by its cracked shape it's not terribly big somehow.

More about this product

Pots from the Mami range can be used on gas, induction, ceramic and electric stoves (except for the aluminium pot). The cookware can be safely placed in the oven, but should not be placed in microwave ovens.
Before first use, the cookware should be washed thoroughly with dishwashing liquid and wiped dry.
Steel pots can be safely washed in the dishwasher; aluminium pots should not be washed in this way. However, please note that aggressive chlorine-based detergents may damage the surface of the steel.
The cooker should always be placed on a heating medium with a diameter no larger than the diameter of the pot base.
An empty pot should never be left on a burner - this can lead to overheating and damage to the product. Stefano Giovannoni Stefano Giovannoni was born in La Spezia in 1954.
