Part of the .it collection prepared for Alessi by Viel Arets. The electric kettle retains the streamlined, simple, ascetic style of its predecessors. The classic cylindrical shape enriched only by the austere spout and the characteristic handle leaves no doubt as to the vessel's belonging to the collection. The stainless steel outer casing reinforces the minimalist effect. The style of the Hot.it kettle allows it to take its place even directly on the table. This unique item will blend in perfectly with the rest of the .it collection. On the plastic lid there is a round button, which opens the lid when pressed. The inside of the kettle is made of health-safe plastic. The diameter of the kettle including handle and spout is 25 cm.

    The lid mechanism breaks down quite quickly. In addition, the plastic the inside of the kettle is made of affects the taste and smell of the water. I was tempted by the looks of the kettle, but I would strongly advise everyone against buying it.

    Making the kettle is fine and does not raise any objections. To make it look beautiful, the stand with power supply is invisible, so putting away the kettle is only possible in one particular position, which is very uncomfortable. You can not see the water level, which I do not need to be happy, but some may disturb it. The sparrow is not entirely happy. When filling the cup, the water spills, but probably the accident of 'designer' kettles. The form is definitely unique and it will be hard for me to find an equally nice kettle!

    Alessi is the quintessence of design. Kettle looks even better than in the picture. It fits perfectly into my new, modern kitchen maintained in white and gray. The kettle works very well and, above all, it is fast. I definitely recommend it.
