Robert Szuba

Robert Szuba dreamt of studying in Krakow, first painting and then sculpture conservation. However, it was Warsaw that he chose as the theme for his current projects. This is where he gained experience working in the advertising industry, which he eventually abandoned in favour of design.

He designs objects of expressive form and thoughtful construction, which are impossible to remain indifferent to. As an admirer of Polish design of the 1950s, he documents the activities of the ŁAD Artists' Cooperative workshop in Kłodzko.
Robert Szuba represents Warsaw design, which is perfectly evident in his projects. In his works he has already referred to the forms of the Palace of Culture and Science, the National Stadium and the monument to the Warsaw Mermaid. In opposition to contemporary designers who create universal things, with a nationality that is difficult to establish, Szuba boldly refers to a specific place - Warsaw.
