The kettle, designed by Richard Sapper in 1984, became an instant classic. A recognisable object, used in many films, adverts and on television, it was designed by Richard Sapper, whose day-to-day work involves more technologically advanced products such as ships. The author's interests are reflected in the form of the kettle, which combines soft, streamlined forms with a strongly contrasting, 'technical' whistle. It is this element that is most interesting about the kettle as a whole. The designer wanted it to play a melody composed of two sounds: mi and si, rather than the unpleasant tones one usually hears when boiling water. The result is a work of art that appeals to more than just the sense of sight. The kettle is suitable for all types of hobs, including induction.

The kettle is beautiful. It makes an amazing impression. Included with the kettle we received two spare parts for the whistle, which are responsible for the sound and instructions for replacing them. You can buy spare parts the whole handle and the lever cap in synthetic material. The above opinion about the difficulty of use and low functionality may
discourage purchase and I disagree. The kettle is not heavy at all, even filled with

the kettle is very nice and we like it, it's nice to look at it, but it is not very functional, it's hard to fill it, it catches any stain on the polished surface but we bought it for beauty not for functionality, the water can boil in it as much as it requires a little more care in the service and certainly for a multi-person family is not suitable, it is already our second kettle, as we bought, first enjoyed our eyes 12 years used in the normality by two people

There are two versions of the kettle 9091 and 9091 FM - only the second one is for induction, I sold the first version and the new kitchen does not work

The kettle looks great, it's a bit worse with functionality: the boiling water condenses in the whistle and splashes outside. I decided, however, to stop it, because cooking on an induction hob is not very disturbing. If, however, I had a different disc I would give up the purchase.
