Sarria Fruit bowl white

Presented in 2000, the Sarria fruit bowl was given a new colour in 2012. Thanks to the collaboration between the bowl's designer, architect Lluis Clotet, and Claudia Raimondo, the product was given 2 new colours, the result of intensive research into the technology used to obtain the colours in the production process. The new colours have been identified as milky white and super black. The milky white was achieved by applying multiple layers of softly transparent lacquer, giving the impression of a pearly, snow-white surface. The shine of the steel beneath the lacquer adds a unique sparkle and emphasises the unusual form of the bowl.
The bowl obtains its shape through advanced cold-press technology. In the course of a single press movement, the product obtains its shape, without any loss in the quality of the steel surface or its thickness.
